NATIONAL HYDRO POWER CORPORATION LIMITED (NHPC)
NHPC Limited is inviting applications from eligible
applicants for scholarship under NHPC Sports Scholarship scheme 2019 for
upcoming sports persons for 05 games - Football, Kabaddi, Boxing, Wrestling and
Para sports.
The objective of this scheme is to award NHPC Sports
Scholarships to promising young players with a view to encourage talent and
create a pool of sports persons.

Age Limit:
Scholarship
will be given to upcoming junior players in the age group of 14-19 years (as on
01.09.2019). Players born on or after 01.09.2000 and on or before 01.09.2005
are eligible for such scholarship. For Para Sports, the age for applying for
scholarship will be between 14-24 years (as on 01.09.2019). Players born on or
after 01.09.1995 and on or before 01.09.2005 are eligible for scholarship in
Para sports category.

Duration of Appointment:
Scholarship
shall be for a period of 3 years irrespective of the age of the scholarship
recipient during the scholarship period.
Important Date:
The duly
completed & signed application form together with requisite enclosures
should be sent at the following address so as to reach latest by 17th October
2019. Applications received after 17.10.19 will not be considered.
