Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted jointly by
the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian
Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur,
Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination
Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human
Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
Gate which is an entry process to various master degree programs in Engineering/Technology/Architechture in doctoral programs in revelant course of science and also for public sector undertaking jobs which now being made mandatory by certain agencies.
About GATE 2020: This time GATE 2020 will be conducted by IIT Delhi. It will be conducted in 25 subjects including newly added subject, Biomedical Engineering
Exam centers are spread across the country and also abroad in six major
cities.
